From the editor: March 2014

We’ve got away to a great start for the year with a successful BBQ at the end of January (even though it rained) and the Wrights presentation in February. Good turnouts for two enjoyable events. Let’s keep the ball rolling for March, an established Hawkes Bay producer and some excellent wines in prospect.

airshowThe Alpha Domus logo reminds me that as a boy I was raised in Taradale and a significant memory revolves around regularly seeing Tigermoths flying through the skies. In more recent times art deco events have seen a variety of vintage and veteran aircraft in the skies. The attached picture was taken in Emerson Street, Napier, looking towards the sea one fine art deco weekend during an air display.
