The world in grapes – Malcolm McIntyre
Malcolm is involved in wine distribution through Blackboard Wines. An enjoyable evening and some nice wines. The theme was to align the presentation with those countries in the World Cup that are recognized as wine producers. The link was not always clear but this did not stop those attending from enjoying an informative presentation and some nice wines.
The numbers attending the meeting were lower than usual and this was put down to a mixture of the rugby world cup, school holidays, and the lack of a newsletter. Malcolm mentioned that he would like to come back next year. We will look to an appropriate theme, and the offer is much appreciated. Your committee will work on a possible future event.
