The feedback from members indicated that this was a most enjoyable evening with some pleasant wines and diverting questions. The wines included:

- 2011 Milton Te Arai Chenin Blanc
- 2011 Twisted Old Vine Zinfandel [California]
- 2011 Chateau Roustaing Bordeaux [France]
- 2011 Waipipi Henry Pinot Noir
The wine was complementary to the question, or was it vice versa, Mel was somewhat perturbed when he did not recognize the Zinfandel. However despite the limits of wine appreciation, or identification, members thought
that the format was well worth repeating. Your committee have given some thought to how a similar evening might be incorporated in future programming bearing in mind that we have quite a number of producers interested in presenting to the club. We will keep our options open. You might just need to keep the Jolly Swagman’s name in mind for the future.
